Vice Presidential Debate 2008 Palin/Biden
The Vice Presitdential Debate between Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden was on Thursday, October 2nd, at Washington University in St.Louis. There were many topics in the discussion and one of the topics were on domestic and foreign policy matters. Gwen Ifill was the moderator and she was a black woman. Palin was nervous in the beginning but was confident later on. Biden spoke confidently the whole time. Sometimes I wouldn't get what both of them were saying and it seemed confusing. There were questions about taxes, about Darfur, nuclear weapons, and Israel, and etc. I thought Biden had more facts in his answers than Palin. Both Biden and Palin sometimes didn't answer the question and went off to another topic. It was mostly Palin that did it the most thought. Biden's voice and tone was more aggressive and Palin sounded like a nice woman when she spoke. I think Biden is more of a strong speaker and has more experience than Palin. So I think Biden won the debate. Overall I thought the debate was great and that they like doing the debates on topics with each other.
