Presidential face- off

On Friday 9/26/08 was the first debate for Senator John Mccain and Senator Barack Obama. The two of them have good reasons supported for their stand. Senator Mccain criticized Sen. Obama that "he does not understand the difference between a tactic and a strategy;" and that he has not been over to Iraq or other countries as much as Mccain has. On the first article a person said that Obama is a big government loving Socialist-Communist because “he wants government to take over healthcare. That means less choices for individuals and more power to politicians-burocrats. He wants to destroy jobs by decreasing freedom with extra regulation, higher business taxes and higher capital gains taxes and with it drive businesses out of the country.” On the other hand another viewer criticized “how can Mccain be a leader when he can’t even look at Obama in the eyes. He was being defensive during the whole debate.” As for me I like Sen. Mccain because he is very experienced. He has been in war before and was a prisoner in Vietnam for five years. He has been through so many crisis and difficulties to understand the hardship a soldier has to face. Sen. Obama speaks very well. He sounded persuasive and assure of what he is saying. But he has only been involving in politics and diplomacies for two years. Compared to Sen. Mccain, he is still new. But more important, I think a president should do what he says. I have only seen Sen. Obama speaks but has not done anything follow what he said. I think Sen. Mccain is patriotic and he deserve to win this year Presidential election.
