Barack Obama

If i could vote in the coming election I would vote for Obama. Here are three reasons why:
1) Taxes: With Obama's tax plan, 95% of all middle class working families will get tax cuts. This will cause the taxes for the richer to increase. It shouldn't affect the rich people much, but it gives the middle class a break that they have worked hard to deserve. The taxes are also cut for senior citizens. With the social security program in question this plan is a relief for the seniors who are living off of just social security. The tax plan also provides an incentive for companies to hire workers. The companies who hire more people will recieve more tax cuts in their company. This also creates a flow of money. Obama also plans to simplify the process. This will let millions of americans file their taxes without an accountant. The senior citizens will mot even need to fill out any tax forms at all. For a middle class citizen, Obama's tax plan makes more sense than McCain's.
2) War in Iraq: The facts state that the war in iraq and other foriegn countries are costing the U.S. about 10 billion dollars a month. This money can be used in so many other areas right here in our own country. With Obama as president, he promises to end the war as soon as possible. His plan says that he will start to remove troops in 1 or 2 brigades a month. Removing most of the troops by 2010. He plans to keep some forces in iraq to fight against terrorism groups and to keep the country from becoming sectarianism. The U.S. troops will work together to protect thier people and help tham reconstruct thier country. Once the country becomes stable, Obama plans to retreat all the troops. Obama was against the war since 2002. He states that the war is,"an occupation of undetermined length, with undetermined costs and undetermined consequences." Obama will help us regain our power and revive the reputation of our country.
3) Education: Education has been a hot topic in the presidential policies. Obama has plans to improve the way the youth learn in the U.S. The facts state that the U.S. is amoung the lowest of the best educated in the world. The lack of education is causing the Americans to lose their jobs to people who are called in from other countries. Obama plans to reform the no child left behind act by changing the way the government tests the ability and knowledge of the students. Obama plans to support high quality schools and close low quality charter schools. He plans to support math and science programs to enrich the minds of all students. A small but important detail in Obama's plan states that he will invest in middle school programs to help students from dropping out of school. These policies will help the youth to become better educated. Obama's education plan serves the students the best.
These are only some of the reasons why I would vote for Obama.
