I would vote for Obama because he has a clear plan on how to improve or solve several issues important to me.

Energy and the Environment: He is going to provide short-term relief to Americans facing pain at the pump. Help create five million new jobs by investing $150 billion to build clean energy. Plans to put 1 million Plug In Hybrid cars that on the road. These cars would be built in America which helps create jobs. He plans to make certain 25 percent of our energy is renewable by the year 2025. Promises to reduce green house emissions by 80percent by the year 2050. Develop a global program by working with UNFCC on climate change. Prioritize the construction of the Alaska pipeline.

Healthcare: Require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions. Create Small Business Health Tax Credit so small business owners can provide care to employees. Establish a national Heath Insurance Exchange to help individuals and small business owners to buy affordable health coverage. Lower drug costs by allowing importation of medicines from other countries. Reform insurance market to create competition by reducing anticompetitvity.

Taxes: Reduce taxes for 95 percent of workers of about $500 and $1000 for married couples. Provide tax cuts for uninsured and homeowners. Provide tax credits to reduce the cost of healthcare. Simplify the tax process. Middle class families will see tax cuts and families making over 250,000 will not see and increase. According to the Tax Policy Center, the Obama plan provides three times as much tax relief for middle class families as the McCain plan. No family will pay higher tax rates than they would have paid in the 1990s.
